Film actor Keanu Reeves was slapped with a lawsuit Monday (Nov. 5, 2007) by a paparazzi photographer who said the Matrix star struck him with his Porsche.
The suit alleges that the photographer, Alison Silva, suffered shock and serious injuries, severely limiting his earning capacity. It seeks unspecified damages.
The incident happened March 19 as Reeves left a parking space in a residential area near Los Verdes County Golf Course, south of Los Angeles. Authorities said at the time that paramedics treated Silva at the scene and was transported him by ambulance to a nearby hospital. Reeves emerged from the run-in unscathed and no criminal charges were filed.
